Generac Power Systems (NYSE: GNRC), a leading global designer and manufacturer of power generation equipment and other engine powered products, recently announced the opening of new regional corporate offices in Mexico. The new offices will serve as a business hub to consolidate Ottomotores and Selmac operations into one location.

“Our new regional offices will help Generac realize synergies with distributors and increase business opportunities in Latin America,” said Aaron Jagdfeld, president and chief executive officer of Generac. “Mexico is a strategic location within the region for Generac, and will serve as a bridge to the rest of Latin America and other international markets.”

The new offices are located in Mexico City, Mexico. More than 130 executive, administrative and commercial employees will work from the new location.

The consolidated regional office is the latest milestone in the integration of Selmac, acquired in 2018, and Ottomotores, acquired in 2012, into the Generac family of companies. The acquisition of the two brands made Generac the number one manufacturer of industrial and commercial generators in the region. One central regional office will pave the way for a more collaborative process and streamlining of essential business operations.

“Consolidating the two companies into one building will help us continue Generac’s momentum of growth in Latin America and internationally,” said Ricardo Navarro, senior vice president of Generac and president in Latin America. “The collaboration of Ottomotores and Selmac teams will improve customer service, make us more responsive to distributors, and more efficient internally.”For more information about the Generac, visit: www.generac.com.
