From its booths (#6412 indoors and #218 outdoors) at the 2018 National Hardware Show in Las Vegas, Generac Power Systems has launched three powerful new inverter generators that are quieter, more capable and more technologically advanced than many comparably sized units on the market.
The company’s new iQ3500, GP3000i and GP3500io inverter generators are distinguished in the market by Generac’s new PowerRush™ Advanced Technology. This innovation increases electrical current on demand above the unit’s rated output when starting electric motors, such as air conditioners, electric tools and air compressors. PowerRush delivers as much as 50 percent more starting capacity, so users can start more of their favorite motor-driven products and run more in a much smaller, lighter package.
Ideal for work or play, the new Generac iQ3500 inverter generator is quieter and more powerful than the Honda EU3000iS inverter. The iQ3500 has an easy-to-use electric start function to power up the unit with a push of a button. The LED display, which is clear and easy to read, provides users valuable information about their generator. One of the best things about the unit is that it is extremely durable, with a robust steel frame and full steel enclosure that makes the iQ3500 perfect for both recreational and job site use.
Consumers can extend the running time of the iQ3500 using its economy mode feature, which automatically adjusts engine speed based upon electrical demands, saving fuel and further reducing sound. If users require more than 3500 watts, the unit can be paralleled with another iQ3500 for double the power.
For recreational and RV users, Generac offers the new GP3000i inverter generator. Campers can rest easier, as the generator is quiet while still being powerful enough to bring the conveniences of home to the great outdoors. In addition to traditional duplex outlets, the GP3000i has ports for electronics like phones and tablets. The unit even provides a 30-amp locking outlet for bigger power demands.
In order to conserve fuel and further reduce sound, the GP3000i also offers an economy mode that automatically adjusts its engine speed based upon power demands. LEDs on the control panel will alert users if the unit is low on oil or overloaded. The compact size and light weight of the GP3000i coupled with the built-in handle make transporting the inverter generator painless.
For construction sites, which are loud and busy work environments, Generac offers a new inverter generator that can reduce sound levels while maximizing productivity. The new open-frame GP3500iO model is quieter and more lightweight than our traditional portable generator of similar power output while delivering up to 50 percent more motor starting capacity thanks to PowerRush Advanced Technology. It, too, offers an economy mode to conserve fuel and minimize sound as well as a 30-amp locking outlet for powering larger tools and appliances.
And if you need even more power, both the GP3000i and GP3500iO are parallel-ready. Connect another one of each — even mix and match the units — with the accessory paralleling kit for additional power and application flexibility. For more information on PowerRush Advanced Technology and the new inverter generators Generac has introduced, please visit www.generac.com.
