Nashville, Tenn., recently played host to the annual sales and service conference for industry-leading generator and engine-powered tool manufacturer Generac Power Systems. Held Jan. 23-25, nearly 1600 Generac distributors and dealers from around the world descended upon the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center to ask questions of company leaders, communicate with industry professionals, construct effective sales and service strategies and learn best practices for marketing their generator businesses.
The event had particular value for Generac Industrial Power distributors, as detailed product insights and innovative programs for industrial power professionals were introduced throughout the three-day conference.

After enjoying a few days of informational discussions, interactive exercises and fun-filled entertainment, attendees gathered for an awards ceremony, in which nominees were acknowledged for their commitment to training, service operations and sales performances.
The Eagle Award, recognized as the event’s top honor, was given to the top-performing Generac Industrial Power distributor, Energy Systems Southeast (ESSE), headquartered in Birmingham, Ala. While other parties were nominated and awarded for their noteworthy sales, training and service performances in 2016, ESSE’s commitment to training, marketing efforts, financial growth and achievement of revenue targets ultimately earned them this distinguished accolade.
